As a Dietary Cook , you will play a vital role in our culinary team, preparing high-quality meals that meet the dietary and nutritional requirements of our residents.
Dietary Cook Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve meals according to established menus and dietary guidelines Adhere to residents' dietary restrictions, preferences, and special requests Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, ensuring compliance with sanitation and safety regulations Assist in planning menus and food preparation schedules Monitor food inventory and communicate supply needs to the supervisor Collaborate with the dietary team to ensure timely and accurate meal service Maintain records of food preparation, temperatures, and waste as required
Dietary Cook Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Dietary Cook in a healthcare or long-term care setting preferred Knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and dietary requirements Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Strong organizational and time management skills Excellent communication skills and a commitment to resident satisfaction Certification in Food Safety or ServSafe preferred (or willingness to obtain) If you are a motivated and skilled Dietary Cook looking for a new challenge, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
