The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with experience in fine dining or catering environments. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals, ensuring food safety standards, and contributing to a positive kitchen atmosphere. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner while maintaining high quality Assist with menu planning and development of new dishes Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations Adhere to food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during peak hours Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed Participate in catering events as required Skills Dietary department experience is a plus Previous experience as a dietary aide or in food service roles Strong menu planning abilities and creativity in meal preparation Fine dining experience preferred, with knowledge of upscale cooking techniques Proficient in food preparation, cooking methods, and presentation skills Solid understanding of food handling practices and food safety regulations Experience working in a restaurant or kitchen environment Excellent knife skills and attention to detail in meal preparation Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining quality standards Strong teamwork skills and the ability to communicate effectively with staff Join our team and bring your culinary expertise to create memorable dining experiences for our guests!
