              Pay Range:
              $20-$30 base pay plus H&W $5.50/hr on regular hours up to 40 hours.
              Note:
              OT is at 1.5x base rate

                  Job Summary:
                  Has ultimate responsibility for all administrative decisions and smooth operation of Job Site/Mobilization in the absence of the Food Services Manager. By having a working familiarity with all job functions and duties of assigned staff, the Fire Pod Administrative Manager will coordinate the establishment and daily functioning of the Job Site/Mobilization while maintaining communications with the Fire Pod Manager, Food Services Manager, Director of Support, and any applicable governmental representatives and/or corporate clients.
                  Duties/Responsibilities:
                  • Assists MFSU Manager with ensuring sufficient staff is hired for the Fire Pod and coordinates times to meet on the Job Site/Mobilization.
                  • Assists with mobilization, camp set up/tear down, and demobilization.
                  • Coordinates all necessary equipment and supplies. Works on bringing in communications lines, coordinates with water tenders and fuel tenders if available. Finds propane source and sets up a schedule for refilling.
                  • Generates, maintains and submits required reports and documentation, including daily personnel status report, personnel action forms, hours reports, counseling forms, personnel evaluations, and incident reports. Submits travel requests as necessary.
                  • Coordinates employee movements to and from airports.
                  • Tracks and monitors employee hours, ensuring equal distribution of overtime.
                  • Coordinates with Kitchen Manager and Inventory Lead to determine products on hand for first menu. Delegates purchase of supplies or food.
                  • Records all menus, serving times, meal counts, personnel lists, and mileage.
                  • Takes all orders from government agents and/or corporate client representatives and informs appropriate staff members. Fills out invoices to be paid by government agency or corporate client and has appropriate representative sign-off.
                  • Assists with completion and submission of all personnel paperwork. Coordinates new hire paperwork, daily time recording, and other payroll related issues.
                  • Makes every effort to resolve issues by consulting with concerned parties, whether governmental agents or employees.
                  • Ensures staff are completing appropriate documentation (temperature logs, sanitation tests, water tests) and following all health and safety standards for food service.
                  Required Education, Certifications, Licenses, and Experience:
                  • ServSafe Food Protection Manager certification or equivalent ANSI National Accreditation Board and the Conference of Food Protection Certificate
                  • 1-2 years experience working in a fast paced food service environment.
                  • 1-2 years experience in a supervisor or managerial position.
                  • Ready for immediate dispatch and comfortable living in remote fire camp environments for weeks at a time.
                  Preferred Education, Certifications, Licenses, and Experience:
                  • Experience working in a field / non-standard environment.
                  Work Environment:
                  Employees may be exposed to extreme cold or hot weather conditions, fumes, or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and loud noise.
                  Physical Requirements:
                  Employees may be required to remain in a stationary position, stand, push, pull, climb, kneel, crawl, balance, squat, bend, and reach. Employees may be also required to use gear to move items around, including, but not limited to, carts and dollies. Employees may also be occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 49 pounds.
