Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic Dietary Aide to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting our dietary department by assisting with meal preparation, food handling, and ensuring food safety standards are met. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will contribute to delivering high-quality meals and excellent service to our guests. Responsibilities Assist with menu planning and meal preparation to ensure timely delivery of quality dishes Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety guidelines Support kitchen operations by handling food safely, including proper knife skills and food handling techniques Contribute to food service activities, including plating and serving meals with professionalism Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety standards Help with catering events by preparing and serving food in accordance with client specifications Ensure all food is prepared in a hygienic manner, following proper food safety protocols Experience Previous experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly desirable Background in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant service is preferred Familiarity with kitchen operations within the food industry or culinary environments is advantageous Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper handling techniques is essential Skills in menu planning, meal preparation, and catering support are beneficial Strong knife skills and experience in food industry roles will help you succeed in this position Join us to be part of a lively team dedicated to nourishing guests with passion and precision!
