Job Summary:
Preparing high-quality meals in a timely manner, following recipe guidelines and utilizing a variety of cooking methods. This role requires effective communication with the chef on duty and adherence to sanitation standards to ensure a clean and efficient kitchen environment.

Schedule:
Typical schedule is 45-50 hours, 5 days per week (may include weekends, evenings, and holidays) Why Glacier National Park? Communicate closely with chef on duty. Follows recipe cards and use a full range of cooking methods. Familiar with operation of kitchen equipment. Maintain Xanterra standards of sanitation throughout kitchen area. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Some culinary/fast food experience preferred, culinary arts degree preferred. Must have knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods (grilling, baking, boiling etc.). Ability to communicate clearly so that others in the kitchen understand expectations and tasks. Ability to remain calm and work well in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
Physical Requirements include:
Stand and walk for long periods of time, approximately 8 hours. Lift and carry a minimum of 50 pounds. Bend, stretch, and reach for extended periods of time. We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
