Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Prep Cook to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing ingredients, assisting with meal assembly, and ensuring that all food safety standards are upheld. Responsibilities Prepare ingredients by chopping, slicing, dicing, and portioning according to recipes and menu specifications Operate kitchen equipment such as knives, slicers, mixers, and ovens safely and efficiently Follow food safety protocols and maintain cleanliness of workstations to ensure a hygienic environment Support the culinary team in adhering to recipe standards and portion control guidelines Maintain proper food handling procedures during preparation, storage, and service Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate tasks and ensure smooth workflow during busy periods Qualifications Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Experience in food service or restaurant environments desirable Knowledge of safety standards in production environments and food safety management practices Ability to follow recipes accurately and maintain consistency Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with kitchen staff and team members Join us as a Prep Cook and bring your culinary passion to life!
