In this vital role, you will bring your culinary expertise and food service experience to create nutritious, appealing meals that delight our community. Your enthusiasm for food preparation, menu planning, and maintaining food safety standards will help ensure a positive dining experience for all. Duties Prepare and serve meals in accordance with established menus, dietary guidelines, and safety protocols Assist with menu planning by suggesting creative and nutritious options that meet dietary needs Handle food preparation tasks such as chopping, cooking, plating, and portioning with precision and care Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety standards at all times Support catering events by preparing large quantities of food and ensuring timely service Serve meals to residents or customers with professionalism and a friendly attitude Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination and ensure quality control Experience Previous experience working in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly preferred Hands-on experience in food preparation, cooking, and meal service within a restaurant or food industry setting Knowledge of menu planning, food safety practices, and kitchen operations Demonstrated knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques Familiarity with catering services and serving large groups is a plus Strong understanding of food handling regulations and safety standards Experience in culinary roles involving food industry best practices enhances your suitability for this position Join us to make a meaningful difference through your culinary talents!
