Duties Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning ingredients Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering strictly to food safety and sanitation standards Support the kitchen team during busy service hours by efficiently managing multiple tasks Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and quality in all prepared items Assist with menu planning ideas and ingredient inventory management as needed Ensure all food is cooked to the correct temperature and presentation standards are met before serving Skills Proven experience in dietary department or dietary aide roles is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with food handling protocols Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations within a restaurant or fine dining setting Excellent knife skills for precise cutting, slicing, and dicing of ingredients Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling and sanitation Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail Experience with meal preparation, catering, and serving in a fast-paced environment Familiarity with menu planning, food industry standards, and culinary techniques to support kitchen operations Join us if you're passionate about culinary arts, eager to grow your skills in a vibrant kitchen setting, and ready to contribute to delivering exceptional dining experiences!
