Dietary Cook - Assisted Living & Memory Care Brookstone Terrace is a locally owned and operated Assisted Living and Memory Care community looking for an experienced Cook to join our dietary team. We are a smaller senior living community where our team members have the opportunity to truly get to know our residents. We are looking for someone who enjoys cooking, takes pride in the meals they prepare, and understands how important a great dining experience is to our residents.

Responsibilities include:

Preparing great-tasting meals Baking and meal preparation Creating attractive, appealing plates for our residents Following menus and special diet requirements Serving and assisting residents during meal service Engaging and interacting with residents Assisting with dishes and kitchen clean-up Receiving, organizing, and rotating food and supplies Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen

Schedule:

This position requires flexibility in scheduling. Team members may work varying shift lengths, including possible 12-hour shifts , and will be required to work every other weekend .

What We're Looking For:

Long-term care, Assisted Living, Memory Care, or other healthcare food-service experience is strongly preferred. The ideal candidate will also have experience with special diets and modified diet orders . Most importantly, we're looking for someone who is dependable, works well as part of a team, and wants to help make mealtime one of the best parts of our residents' day.
