Duties Prepare and assemble meals according to established recipes and menu plans, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish Operate various kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, slicers, mixers, and other culinary tools Assist in menu planning by suggesting new recipes and modifications to enhance flavor and presentation Maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation by following proper handling procedures and cleaning protocols Support food preparation activities such as slicing, chopping, cooking, and plating to meet meal deadlines Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate meal production and ensure smooth workflow Adhere strictly to safety standards during all food production processes to prevent accidents or contamination Qualifications Proven experience in dietary departments or food service environments, including dietary aide or restaurant experience Strong knowledge of food safety management practices and safety standards in production environments Skilled in food handling techniques with excellent knife skills and slicing techniques Experience with menu planning, recipe adherence, and meal preparation in a fast-paced setting Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Ability to communicate clearly with team members and kitchen staff to ensure seamless operations Previous catering or culinary experience is a plus, demonstrating versatility in food industry roles Join us as a where your culinary talents will shine!
