Line Cook

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a strong understanding of kitchen operations. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality meals to our guests while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and cleanliness. This position requires teamwork, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner and meets quality expectations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including utensils, equipment, and storage areas. Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies. Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and preparation. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during service periods. Help train new kitchen staff on proper food preparation techniques and kitchen protocols. Experience Previous experience in food preparation or cooking within a restaurant or food service environment is preferred. Familiarity with various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures. Strong knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent knife skills and proficiency in using kitchen tools and equipment.
