Job Description

Job Summary:
As a Cook room associate at Carolina CoPacking, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of food products in a large-scale manufacturing setting. Your primary duty will be to ensure that all food products are cooked to perfection and meet our company's high quality standards. This is a full-time position at our facility located in Henderson, North Carolina. It is an individual contributor role working as part of a team of skilled professionals. The compensation for this position is $17 per hour, paid weekly.
Compensation & Benefits:

Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook a variety of food products according to established recipes and quality standards. Operate and maintain cooking equipment, ensuring proper functioning and cleanliness. Monitor and record cooking temperatures and times to ensure food safety and quality. Label and store cooked food products in accordance with company procedures. Follow all food safety guidelines and maintain a clean and sanitary work environment. Report any equipment malfunctions or quality issues to the supervisor. Assist with inventory and stock management in the cook room. Adhere to production schedules and meet all deadlines. Work collaboratively with team members to achieve company goals and objectives. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements:
Three years cook and or food service experience High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a food production or similar setting is preferred. Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines. Able to read and follow recipes accurately. Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds. Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to work weekends and overtime as needed. Must pass a background check and drug screen.
