Cook/Residential Adolescent Treatment Aide Hybrid

Eckert Youth Homes is hiring a team member to serve in a unique dual role — part kitchen support, part direct care mentor — working with adolescents in a residential treatment setting. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys cooking, staying organized, and building positive relationships with youth in a structured, team-oriented environment.

What You'll Do:

Plan and prepare nutritious meals for youth and staff Maintain kitchen cleanliness, inventory, and food safety standards Teach life skills through cooking and daily routines Actively supervise and mentor youth Participate in recreational activities and positive role modeling Work closely with a supportive treatment team

What We're Looking For:

21+ years of age High school diploma or GED Previous professional cooking experience and organizational skills Comfortable working in a structured residential setting Strong professional boundaries and positive role-model qualities Valid ND driver's license Ability to pass background screening CNA preferred but not required
