Job Description

ABOUT THE ROLE
Prepares breakfast, lunch, and/or dinner meals for hospital patients, employees, and guests using daily menus and recipes provided and approved by the Nutrition Services Manager. This role serves patient and cafeteria meals and will be responsible for maintaining facility sanitation.
YOUR ROLE WOULD ENCOMPASS
Commits to the mission, vision, beliefs and consistently demonstrates our core values. Participates in meetings, committees and lean projects as assigned. Maintains professional growth and development through seminars, workshops, and professional affiliations to keep abreast of the latest trends in field of expertise. Performs service excellence must-haves to achieve an excellent patient/customer experience. Uses quality improvement processes, programs or outcome to help improve department operations. Prepares eye appealing, high quality food for all customers. Performs cleaning tasks and assists in general sanitation of kitchen area. Appropriately and safely operates kitchen equipment and utilities. Trains new employees under direction of Nutrition Services Manager. Understands chemical use related to area of work and is aware of Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
YOUR EXPERIENCE INCLUDES

PERFORMANCE IN
): High School Diploma or equivalent
  • preferred Must be 18 years of age or older

    Full-time, Day shift, M-F 6:00am-2:30pm, Occasional Weekends (6:00am-6:00pm) & Rotating Holidays
