Job Description
Are you passionate about preparing healthy, delicious meals for children? We're looking for a dependable, organized, and caring Full-Time Cook to join our childcare team!
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve nutritious breakfasts, lunches, and snacks for children following CACFP guidelines.
- Plan and organize daily meal preparation.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary kitchen.
- Monitor food inventory and assist with ordering supplies.
- Follow food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Accommodate food allergies and special dietary needs as required.
- Be willing to learn how to complete CACFP paperwork.
Qualifications:
- Experience in commercial or institutional food preparation preferred but not necessary.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Dependable, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with CACFP meal requirements is a plus (training will be provided).
- Must be able to pass a background check.
