Job Summary Join our dynamic culinary team as a Line Cook, where your passion for food and dedication to quality will shine! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes with precision and flair. Your culinary skills will contribute to creating memorable dining experiences, ensuring every plate meets our high standards of taste, presentation, and safety. Responsibilities Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and quality standards Assist in menu planning by suggesting new ideas and improvements based on customer preferences and seasonal ingredients Handle food with care, ensuring proper food safety and sanitation practices are followed at all times Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives, ovens, stoves, and food prep tools Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and cooking areas throughout shifts to ensure a hygienic environment Support catering events by preparing large quantities of food while maintaining consistency and presentation standards Serve dishes promptly to ensure timely delivery to guests or dining areas Experience Previous experience in a food service or restaurant setting is highly preferred, especially in a fast-paced kitchen environment Demonstrated culinary experience with proficiency in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food handling safety protocols Familiarity with dietary department procedures or dietary aide experience is a plus, emphasizing attention to special dietary needs Strong knife skills and meal preparation expertise are essential for efficiency and precision in the kitchen Knowledge of food industry standards related to hygiene, safety, and sanitation is required Experience with menu planning or working in catering environments will be advantageous A passion for the culinary arts coupled with excellent teamwork skills will help you thrive in this role
