Job Summary:
Continental Springs, a premier Skilled Nursing provider in South Sioux City, Nebraska, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cook to join our team. As a Cook at Continental Springs, you will play a vital role in preparing and serving delicious meals to our residents. Job Duties:
Perform defined work routines, using various dietary utensils, supplies, and equipment as assigned by the Dietary Manager Prepare and serve meals to cycle menu Monitor methods of food handling Coordinate food preparation and meal service Meet scheduled meal and snack times Follow federal and state long term care regulations and Dietary Department policies and procedures Prepare, season, cook, and serve for assigned meal: ensure appropriate portioned servings according to portion control standards Other assigned duties
Qualifications:
High school graduate or equivalent education preferred One year food service experience in healthcare dietary setting desired Must be patient and tolerant toward staff, residents, and family members Ability to read, understand, and follow recipe directions, diet orders, tray cards, and other work assignments How to
