Our facility offers a variety of services and is currently recruiting for a Part-time Cook to join our growing team. We look forward to reviewing your application!
Job Duties:
Perform defined work routines, using various dietary utensils, supplies, and equipment as assigned by the Dietary Manager. Prepares and serves meals to cycle menu. Monitors methods of food handling. Coordinate food preparation and meal service. Meet scheduled meal and snack times. Follow federal and state long term care regulations and Dietary Department policies and procedures. Prepare, season, cook and serve for assigned meal: ensure appropriate portioned servings according to portion control standards. Other assigned duties.
Qualification:
High school graduate or equivalent education is preferred. One year food service experience in healthcare dietary setting is desired. Must be patient and tolerant toward staff, residents, and family members. Ability to read, understand, and follow recipe directions, diet orders, tray cards, and other work assignments
