This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys showcasing their culinary skills while making a meaningful difference in the daily lives of our residents and staff. The Cook will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and serving a variety of nutritious meals and baked goods, while maintaining high standards for food safety, cleanliness, and meal presentation. This position reports directly to the Food Service Supervisor and requires availability to work every other weekend .

Position Responsibilities:

Prepare, cook, and serve a variety of nutritious and delicious meals Bake rolls, cookies, cakes, pies, and other items as needed Assist with tray line during meal service Monitor proper food handling, preparation, and service procedures Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the kitchen Wash and sanitize pots, pans, utensils, and equipment Assist with general kitchen cleanup Supervise dietary aides as needed Perform related duties as assigned Company Overview Fairview Senior Living has been a trusted part of the healthcare community since 1951, providing personalized and compassionate care in a warm, welcoming environment.
