We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Breakfast Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early-morning meal preparation and an ability to create delicious and satisfying breakfast dishes that meet our guests' expectations. As a Breakfast Cook, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our patrons begin their day with a memorable dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook a variety of breakfast items, such as eggs, pancakes, waffles, bacon, sausage, toast, and specialty breakfast dishes, ensuring high quality and presentation standards. Follow recipes and adhere to all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene guidelines. Ensure breakfast stations are fully stocked and prepped before service begins. Collaborate with kitchen staff to plan and prepare daily breakfast specials. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, including regular cleaning and maintenance of kitchen equipment. Assist in inventory management by monitoring ingredient usage and reporting shortages. Provide exceptional customer service by accommodating special dietary requests and communicating any potential food allergens.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a cook in a professional kitchen setting, preferably with a focus on breakfast service. Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, under pressure and within tight time constraints. Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality meals. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Flexibility to work early morning shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed. Culinary training or relevant certification is a plus, but not required.
