Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our team in the food industry. Duties:

• Prepare and cook food items according to standardized recipes and menu specifications
• Assist with menu planning and meal preparation
• Ensure food is prepared in a timely manner while maintaining high quality standards
• Follow proper food handling and safety procedures
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Assist with inventory management and stock rotation

Experience:

• Previous experience as a Line Cook or Prep Cook in a catering or food industry setting
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and knife skills
• Familiarity with menu planning and recipe execution
• Strong understanding of food safety guidelines and procedures

Skills:

• Excellent culinary skills with the ability to prepare a variety of dishes
• Attention to detail, ensuring that all dishes are prepared accurately and presented beautifully
• Strong time management skills, able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work well within a team, collaborating with other kitchen staff members
