Job Description

Cook - Stockton Beachfront Eatery | Cape May, NJ Stockton Beachfront Eatery is seeking an experienced cook to join our team for the summer season. We are a fast-paced beachfront café serving breakfast and lunch, and we're looking for someone who takes pride in preparing quality food and maintaining a clean, organized kitchen.
Responsibilities:
Prepare breakfast sandwiches, lunch items, salads, wraps, and daily specials Maintain a clean and organized work station throughout the shift Follow food safety and sanitation standards Assist with prep work, stocking, and cleaning duties Work efficiently during busy service periods while maintaining food quality and presentation Communicate effectively with front-of-house staff and fellow team members
Qualifications:
Previous cooking or kitchen experience required Confident working independently and managing a station Strong attention to detail and consistency Reliable and punctual Positive attitude and willingness to help where needed Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays We're looking for someone who is dependable, takes initiative, and genuinely cares about the food they serve.
