Interim Kitchen Cook- Temporary/Part time Needed for a Regional Day School located in Egg Harbor Twp, Atlantic County, NJ.

The temporary cook will:
provide breakfast and lunch (2 lunch periods) daily for students according to the program's regulations; complete some necessary paperwork; work with a team of staff.
Hours:
M-F, approximately 7am-2:00pm We are looking for a temporary part time Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have some cooking experience in a school and/or restaurant setting, Servsafe certification a plus but not mandatory, knowledgeable of food safety and sanitation rules, must be a self-starter, able to work independently, and possess strong attention to detail. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with a strong work ethic.
•Super hours for those who need to get their kids from the bus stop on time, have an evening job, and/or at school in the evenings

Pay:
$25.00 - $28.00 per hour Expected hours: 25 - 30 per week Monday to Friday NJ Sick ours offered & RetireReadyNJ optional

Requirements:
Requirements Cooking experience, 1 year (preferred) Knowledge of school food programs/food Must be 18 years or older and possess a high school diploma or equivalent Ability to pass a pre-employment background check (criminal review history & child abuse investigation) Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with our staff and students in a professional manner Ability to work without direct supervision
