The Line Cook will be responsible for preparing food items in accordance with the recipes and standards set by the kitchen. Responsibilities
• Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food
• Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
• Follow proper food handling procedures and ensure cleanliness in the kitchen
• Monitor food stock and place orders when there are shortages
• Assist with menu planning and contribute to creating new dishes
• Maintain a clean and organized cooking station
• Ensure all food meets quality standards before serving Skills
• Proficiency in culinary skills and techniques
• Experience in fine dining or similar upscale establishments
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety regulations
• Ability to handle knives and kitchen equipment safely
• Familiarity with menu planning and recipe creation
• Strong understanding of food handling procedures in a restaurant setting
• Previous experience in the food industry as a Line Cook or similar role
