Job Description

At Lokal Eatery & Bar, we believe great food starts with great people. We are seeking passionate, hardworking, and career-driven Line Cooks to join our culinary team at one of Jersey City's premier waterfront restaurants. If you take pride in your craft, thrive in a fast-paced kitchen, and are committed to excellence, we'd love to meet you. What You'll Do Execute menu items with precision, consistency, and attention to detail Prepare and cook food according to chef specifications and recipes Maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation standards in your station Work collaboratively with the culinary team during service Assist with prep work, inventory management, and daily kitchen operations Follow all food safety and health department regulations What We're Looking For Minimum 2 year of professional kitchen experience preferred Strong work ethic and positive attitude Ability to multitask and perform under pressure Passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented Willingness to learn and grow within the organization What We Offer Competitive hourly pay Opportunities for advancement and professional development A supportive and collaborative kitchen culture Employee dining benefits The opportunity to work with fresh, seasonal ingredients and a talented culinary team
