In this energetic position, you'll play a vital role in ensuring smooth kitchen operations by preparing ingredients, cooking delicious dishes, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting food safety standards. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help deliver exceptional dining experiences to our guests while fostering a collaborative and lively kitchen environment. Duties Prepare ingredients and assist with food prep to ensure timely service during busy hours Cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards, demonstrating strong culinary skills Support food handling procedures in compliance with food safety regulations to ensure hygiene and quality Assist with menu planning and meal assembly for various service periods, including catering events if applicable Organize kitchen tools, utensils, and supplies to promote an efficient workflow Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow and uphold high standards of food presentation and safety Qualifications Prior experience in a food industry setting such as restaurants, catering, or dietary departments is highly desirable Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food handling safety protocols Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation are preferred Experience with dietary aide tasks or dietary department operations is a plus Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting kitchen operations Basic understanding of menu planning, food safety standards, and serving procedures Join us in creating memorable dining experiences!
