Line Cooks at Tatte are passionate about food and genuine hospitality. Our Back of House team prepares all dishes from scratch with an uncompromising commitment to quality and craftsmanship while following standardized recipes and food safety standards.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Execute cooking techniques under the direction of the Sous Chef and Chef Prepare and cook food according to standardized recipes, quality, and presentation standards Portion, chop, weigh, measure, and prepare ingredients Operate ovens, stoves, grills, fryers, microwaves, and other kitchen equipment safely Ensure food is cooked and held at proper temperatures Set up and break down workstations before and after each shift Clean and sanitize kitchen workstations, tables, tools, knives, and equipment Follow all company food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards Maintain quality and consistency throughout food preparation Assist chefs with food preparation and other kitchen tasks as needed Perform other duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Desire to help where needed and work as part of a team Passion for cooking with a keen eye for freshness, quality, and cleanliness Commitment to living Tatte's core values and delivering exceptional hospitality Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays Previous experience working in a fast-paced kitchen is preferred but not requiredESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / WORKING CONDITIONS
Strong communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Ability to grasp and reach overhead Ability to lift, move, and carry 50 pounds or more Ability to stand and work on your feet for 8 or more hours per shiftOUR BENEFITS & PERKS
