Based off experience starting at $18/hr+
Employment Type:
Full Time and Part Time (20-40 hours/week)
Employment Period:
May- October (willing to be flexible)
Standard Shift Duration:
8-10 hours (pending business needs)
Job Purpose:
The Line Cook is responsible for preparing high-quality dishes to our specifications, setting up and stocking stations, and ensuring that the kitchen operates in a timely and efficient manner. What are we looking for?
Minimum Qualification:
Must be 18 years of age or older Previous professional cooking experience, preferably line cook Able to meet the physical requirements of the role
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand and walk the duration of a scheduled shift Ability to lift up to 50 LBS (dishes, glassware, trays of food, etc) Ability to perform basic computer functions Must be able to handle hot, cold and moderate noise interior and outdoor conditions Continuous repetitive motions Ability to read, write, speak and understand
English Key Responsibilities :
Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies. Prepare food for service (e.g., chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces). Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff. Answer, report and follow executive or sous chef's instructions. Clean up station and take care of leftover food. Stock inventory appropriately. Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion. Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards. Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers.
