Line Cook Job Summary We are seeking a dependable and experienced Line Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of food quality, cleanliness, and safety. Job Duties & Responsibilities Prepare and cook food according to recipes, portion standards, and quality guidelines. Set up and stock the kitchen line before each shift. Prepare ingredients, including chopping, cutting, measuring, and portioning. Cook menu items accurately and in a timely manner. Maintain a clean and organized workstation throughout the shift. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and kitchen safety procedures. Properly store and label food items and ingredients. Monitor food temperatures and ensure food is prepared and stored safely. Assist with cleaning kitchen equipment, work areas, and utensils. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and management. Follow all company policies and procedures. Requirements Previous line cook or commercial kitchen experience preferred. Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move kitchen supplies as needed. Slip-resistant shoes required. Food Safety Certification/ServSafe Plus is preferred but not required. Must follow proper food handling and sanitation practices.
