Cook Al the STK & Pizza King - North Wildwood, NJ Join Our Team Al the STK & Pizza King is bringing back a Jersey Shore favorite, and we're looking for a reliable, experienced Cook to join our kitchen team. If you're passionate about preparing quality food, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and take pride in your work, we'd love to meet you. As a Cook, you'll play an important role in delivering consistently great meals while helping create an outstanding dining experience for every guest. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to restaurant recipes and quality standards. Operate grills, fryers, flat tops, ovens, and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently. Maintain proper food temperatures and presentation standards. Prep ingredients and stock workstations before each shift. Work efficiently during busy meal periods while maintaining quality and consistency. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations. Monitor inventory levels and communicate product needs to management. Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and stocked throughout the shift. Assist with opening and closing kitchen duties. Work as part of a team to ensure timely food preparation and excellent customer service. Qualifications Previous restaurant cooking experience preferred. Experience working on a grill, fryer, sauté station, or similar kitchen position is a plus. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices. Ability to multitask and remain organized during busy shifts. Strong work ethic with excellent attendance and reliability. Team player with a positive attitude. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds. Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays during the busy shore season.
