Responsibilities Prepare ingredients and assist in meal assembly according to established recipes and menu specifications Cook a variety of dishes with precision, ensuring consistency and quality in every plate Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering strictly to food safety and sanitation standards Handle food with care, following proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination Support menu planning efforts by suggesting improvements and new dish ideas based on customer feedback and seasonal ingredients Assist with catering orders and special event preparations as needed Serve food efficiently and courteously to guests or staff, ensuring a positive dining experience Requirements Prior experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service environments such as restaurants or catering is highly preferred Strong knife skills and familiarity with various cooking techniques Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling practices Experience working in dietary departments or dietary aide roles is a plus Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen while maintaining attention to detail Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to follow instructions accurately Enthusiasm for culinary arts, meal preparation, and continuous learning in the food industry This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow their culinary expertise while contributing to a lively kitchen environment.
