Job Overview We are seeking a dependable, hardworking, and team-oriented Line Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, strong attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. The Line Cook is responsible for preparing menu items according to recipes and quality standards while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area. Duties and Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards. Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies before service. Ensure food quality, consistency, and portion control standards are met. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department guidelines. Maintain a clean and organized workstation throughout each shift. Properly store, label, and rotate food products using FIFO methods. Assist with receiving and organizing inventory deliveries. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and management to ensure smooth operations. Monitor food levels and notify management of low inventory items. Assist with kitchen opening and closing procedures. Support team members during busy service periods and special events. QualificationsRequired Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds. Strong organizational and time management skills. Reliable transportation and attendance. Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Preferred Previous restaurant or kitchen experience. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices. Food Handler Certification (or willingness to obtain).
