We are looking for somebody who has a great attitude, likes to learn and smile, and shares our philosophy about community and food. As a small café, we need someone who is sociable, enjoys talking to customers, and likes to work hard as part of a team. And, while we prefer somebody who has experience as a barista and/or in the kitchen, we are also happy to train. We cook and bake from scratch throughout the day, make drinks, take customer orders, prepare and deliver food, and clean up. All of these responsibilities are shared among employees. This position will likely be around 20-30 hours per week and we are closed Mondays and Tuesdays. Starting pay is between minimum wage and $16/hr., depending on experience. Trained employees who are included in the tip pool will earn between $15-20/hour, This, however can take several months, depending on how fast an employee learns our systems.
