Job Description
About us Montreux Golf and Country Club is Northern Nevada's premier private country club. As the only Jack Nicklaus Signature course in the area, Montreux has an 18-hole championship golf course, four practice holes, an extensive practice facility, a full-service restaurant, a fitness facility & pool, and many more amenities. Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Lead Line Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in food preparation and a passion for culinary excellence.Duties:
- Prepare and cook menu items in compliance with established recipes and standards
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
- Ensure food is prepared in a timely manner
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Assist with the cleaning and organization of kitchen and equipment
Experience:
- Prefer at least 3 years experience in a culinary role, preferably in a full service restaurant or fine dining setting
- Prefer one year of management experience
- ServSafe Certificate is a plus
- Knowledge of food safety practices
- Proficiency in using kitchen tools such as knives and other equipment
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Experience in meal preparation
Skills:
- Strong food handling skills
- Proficient in food service and food preparation techniques
- Familiarity with the food industry standards
- Ability to use kitchen tools like knives effectively
- Skilled in meal preparation techniques
