The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a strong background in kitchen operations, with experience in casual dining, catering, and food safety standards. This role involves preparing high-quality dishes efficiently while maintaining a clean and organized workstation to ensure exceptional dining experiences for our guests. Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, utensils, and equipment in compliance with food safety regulations Handle food with care, ensuring proper food handling procedures are followed at all times Plate dishes attractively and efficiently for service Support kitchen staff during busy periods, including assisting with meal preparation and serving as needed Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management Ensure all food is stored properly to prevent spoilage and contamination Follow all health and safety guidelines to create a safe working environment Requirements Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or related roles within the food industry or restaurant environment Strong knife skills and proficiency in various cooking techniques Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Experience with menu planning, meal preparation, and catering is preferred Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail Dietary department or dietary aide experience is a plus Fine dining experience or restaurant experience highly desirable Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team Culinary experience that demonstrates creativity and professionalism This position offers an opportunity to be part of a dynamic culinary team committed to excellence.
