We've been featured on several news outlets and looking to grow quickly as we are going to be on Diners Drive Ins and Dives on March 27th. We are in need of someone looking to grow with us as we continue to expand our customer base over the next few months. Tips are shared with kitchen staff. Ideally we want a team player, looking to work together with all back of house roles, but primarily line cooking. You will get experience with flavors from all over the world in a convenient and easy to prepare format. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with experience in fine dining or catering environments. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality meals while maintaining food safety standards and ensuring a smooth kitchen operation. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards. Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely meal service. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations. Follow food safety protocols to ensure the highest quality of food handling. Assist in menu planning and development of new dishes. Manage inventory and assist in ordering supplies as needed. Support dietary department initiatives by preparing specialized meals when required. Participate in catering events, ensuring all food is prepared to specifications. Skills Proven experience in a culinary role, preferably within fine dining or restaurant settings. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods. Excellent knife skills and familiarity with various kitchen equipment. Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices for food handling. Experience in menu planning and meal preparation for diverse dietary needs. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
