Position Summary Accord Social is seeking experienced, dependable, and passionate Line Cooks to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate has strong cooking fundamentals, understands how to properly set up and operate a station, works efficiently during high-volume service, and takes pride in sending out consistently excellent food. We're looking for cooks who care about quality, communicate well, support their teammates, and want to be part of building a great kitchen. Responsibilities Set up and maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked station before and throughout service. Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes, portions, and presentation standards. Execute dishes accurately and consistently during high-volume service. Maintain proper cooking temperatures and food quality. Follow tickets carefully, including modifications, allergies, and special requests. Communicate effectively with the Chef, Kitchen Manager, expo, and fellow cooks. Coordinate timing with other stations so complete orders are ready together. Maintain appropriate prep and par levels. Properly label, date, rotate, and store food. Follow FIFO procedures and minimize unnecessary food waste. Assist with receiving and properly storing deliveries when needed. Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation throughout the shift. Complete opening, running, and closing side work. Properly clean and maintain kitchen equipment. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department requirements. Assist other stations and team members when needed. What We're Looking For At least 2 years of professional line-cook experience preferred . Experience working sauté, grill, fry, pantry/garde manger, or multiple stations. Strong knife skills and knowledge of basic cooking techniques. Ability to read and execute recipes consistently. Understanding of proper food handling, storage, sanitation, and temperature control. Ability to work quickly and accurately without sacrificing quality. Strong sense of urgency and attention to detail. Ability to remain calm and organized during busy service. Dependable and punctual. Positive attitude and strong work ethic. Team-oriented mentality. Willingness to learn and accept feedback. Pride in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen. Availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events. Physical Requirements The position requires the ability to stand and work for extended periods, bend, reach, lift, and safely carry up to approximately 50 pounds and work around hot equipment and in a fast-paced commercial kitchen environment, with or without reasonable accommodation.
