Line Cook

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to providing high-quality meals in a fast-paced kitchen environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in meal preparation, ensuring that dishes are prepared to perfection while adhering to food safety standards. Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Must have a Scratch Cooking experience Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment. Ensure all food safety protocols are followed, including proper storage and handling of ingredients. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Help train new kitchen staff as needed, sharing knowledge of cooking techniques and food safety practices. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies when necessary. Qualifications Proven experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role within the food industry. Strong knife skills and familiarity with various cooking techniques. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy kitchen environment. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues. A passion for cooking and willingness to learn new skills related to meal preparation and menu planning.
