Job description Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team in a fast-paced and dynamic kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in food preparation and a passion for delivering high-quality dishes. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive exceptional meals that meet our acceptable dining standards.
Compensation:
$20.00 per hour Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food is prepared promptly to meet service demands. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including proper food storage practices. Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service hours. Assist in inventory management, including ordering and stocking supplies as needed. Participate in menu planning and development, offering creative input on new dishes. Skills Strong background in kitchen operations, preferably within the fine dining sector. Proficient in food preparation techniques and knowledgeable about various cooking methods. Familiarity with food handling practices and safety regulations within the food industry. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards. Excellent teamwork skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff and management.
