Duties Prepare and assemble cold dishes, salads, garnishes, and pantry items according to established recipes and standards Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pantry and cold station areas to ensure food safety and hygiene compliance Assist with menu planning by preparing ingredients needed for daily service and special events Handle food with care, following proper food safety protocols to prevent contamination and ensure freshness Support the kitchen team during meal preparation, including slicing, chopping, and portioning ingredients with precision using knife skills Serve food efficiently during service hours, ensuring presentation quality and timely delivery to guests or dining areas Collaborate with dietary aides and culinary staff to meet specific dietary needs and accommodate special requests Experience Previous experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly desirable Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food handling within a restaurant or culinary setting Experience with menu planning, meal preparation, catering, or fine dining environments is preferred Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation practices is essential Familiarity with kitchen equipment, knife skills, and food industry best practices Prior work in food service or hospitality roles that demonstrate excellent customer service skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Join us to bring your culinary talents to life!
