Assistant Cook Manager Brighton Central Schools - 3.3 Brighton, NY Job Details Full-time $19.15 an hour 3 days ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Retirement plan Qualifications High school diploma or GED Full Job Description Recruiting for a full-time, 37.5 hours per week, 10 months per year position (6am -2pm M-F following the student calendar). Health insurance, dental insurance, sick time, personal time and retirement benefits are available.

Purpose of position:

Participates in the preparation, cooking and serving of meals. Ensures adherence to safety and sanitary procedures in the fool preparation area. Coordinates the activities of workers engaged in preparing and servicing food. Coordinates the training of kitchen staff involved in food preparation and serving. Oversees and participates in the cleaning of kitchen, service and storage areas, as well as, kitchen equipment. Oversees the preservation and storage of foods. Assists with the order and inventory. Job Qualifications Graduation from high school plus 1 year of paid full-time experience in food preparation on a large scale for a restaurant, hotel or instutition, other than fast food or short order.
