Job Description

CorTech dba JobsRUs is currently seeking three Short Order Cooks to join our team. These positions are critical for ensuring our kitchen operates efficiently and our customers receive high-quality meals promptly. Shift Details and Scheduling Requirements Position 1: Day Shift (1 Opening)
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday:
7:00 AM 3:00 PM (or until the job is completed)
Saturday Sunday:
9:00 AM 3:00 PM (or until the job is completed)
Off Days:
Thursday Friday Position 2: Evening Shift (2 Openings)
Hours:
3:00 PM 11:00
PM Schedule A:
Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (Wednesday Thursday off)
Schedule B:
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday (Thursday Friday off) Core Responsibilities Prepare and cook food quickly according to customer orders, including grilling, frying, and assembling dishes. Set up prep stations, stock inventory, and monitor ingredient levels. Perform basic food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, slicing meats, and mixing ingredients. Operate and maintain kitchen equipment like grills, fryers, and blenders safely. Skills and Qualifications Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment. Understanding of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards. Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure, fast-paced environments. Attention to detail. Strong time management, multitasking, and teamwork skills. High school diploma or equivalent.
