Job Description
Jim Jams Pizza & More is seeking a dependable and motivated kitchen team member to join our staff. Responsibilities Operate fryer and prepare appetizers Prepare and cook dinners using stovetop and oven equipment Assemble and prepare hot subs Prepare cold subs, wraps, and salads Perform food prep and portioning before service Prepare finished menu items according to recipes and quality standards Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines Assist with inventory organization and stocking Work efficiently during busy meal periods Qualifications Minimum 2 years of kitchen experience preferred Experience using commercial fryers, ovens, and stovetop equipment Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to quality and consistency Reliable transportation and punctual attendance Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs with help. Pizza-making experience is a plus but not required Schedule Part-time position Approximately 20-30+ hours per week Nights and weekends required Flexible scheduling available Compensation Competitive pay based on experience and skill level What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, shows up on time, works well with others, and can handle a variety of kitchen tasks with minimal supervision. We're willing to train in other areas of the restaurant which can open up opportunities for additional hours and advancement opportunities. We're looking for a long-term team member who can work independently, stay productive during downtime, and help maintain a positive kitchen culture.
