Job Description
SplashDown Beach Waterpark is seeking a talented Pizza Maker to prepare delicious and high quality pizzas for our guests. Our Pizza Maker will be responsible for preparing pizza dough from scratch, and cutting, slicing and grating various ingredients for toppings. Our ideal candidate will possess a passion for cooking, have a strong sense of pride in their work and an ability to execute at an elite level in an extremely high volume environment. Prepare all raw materials for pizza preparation, including sauces, vegetables, meat, cheese, and dough in a high volume kitchen Maintain a clean and organized work area and cooking surfaces; high sanitation standards required. New York State Food Handler Certification highly desirable Monitor equipment and temperature of the pizza ovens and cooking times Team player who can work cohesively with others; train new team members accordingly Strong ability to follow established standard recipes, work in a fast paced kitchen with minimum supervision Communicate in English effectively Have a flexible work schedule including weekends and holidays. Ability to work up to 10 hours per day. Ability to lift more than 50 lbs regularly and stand on your feet for long periods of time
