Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Line Cook/Prep Cook. We are small team creating great culiunary experiences. In this vital role, you will prepare and assemble high-quality dishes, ensuring every plate meets our standards for taste, presentation, and safety. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your kitchen expertise while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment that values your growth and enthusiasm. Duties Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to standardized recipes and menu specifications Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, fryers, grill, and food processors. Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and cooking areas in compliance with food safety standards Assist with food prep tasks such as slicing, dicing, portioning, and plating to ensure timely meal service Follow proper food handling procedures to uphold hygiene and prevent cross-contamination Support the kitchen team by communicating effectively with chefs and fellow cooks to coordinate meal preparation Adhere strictly to safety standards during all stages of food production and equipment operation Requirements Prior experience in food service, restaurant kitchens, or dietary departments is highly desirable Knowledge of food safety management practices and safe food handling procedures Demonstrated knife skills with proficiency in slicing techniques and ingredient preparation Experience with menu planning, recipe adherence, and meal assembly preferred Ability to operate various kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff Culinary experience or training in the food industry is a plus but not mandatory; enthusiasm for learning is essential Punctuality and self awareness is a must
Pay:
$22.00 - $25.00 per hour
