Line Cook/Prep Cook

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our team. Responsibilities:

• Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and gathering spices
• Assist in the cooking process by following recipes and instructions provided by the head chef
• Operate various kitchen equipment such as grills, fryers, and ovens
• Ensure food is cooked to the appropriate temperature and presented in an appealing manner
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during peak hours
• Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines

Experience:

• Previous experience working in a kitchen or culinary environment is preferred
• Knowledge of food handling and meal preparation techniques
• Familiarity with various cooking methods and kitchen equipment
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
