Job Description
Hamrah's Lebanese Foods & Takeaway is a small, locally owned Lebanese café in Kinderhook, NY. We prepare fresh wraps, bowls, salads, soups, desserts, and prepared foods. We are seeking experienced part-time Cooks to join our team. This position offers approximately 20-35 hours per week. Scheduling may vary, but weekend availability is required. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of menu items according to established recipes and standards
- Bake desserts
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen
- Wash dishes and kitchen equipment as needed
- Assist with opening and closing kitchen duties
- Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures Qualifications
- Previous professional cooking experience required
- Strong knife skills
- Knowledge of food safety and proper food handling practices
- Ability to follow recipes accurately and consistently
- Ability to work efficiently during both busy rushes and slower periods
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with other team members
- Positive attitude and willingness to contribute wherever needed
- Enjoys working with both customers and coworkers in a small-team environment Compensation & Benefits
