Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, presentation standards, and safety guidelines Assist in menu planning by providing input on ingredient selection and dish presentation Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety protocols at all times Handle food with care, ensuring proper storage, portioning, and handling techniques Support catering events by preparing large quantities of food efficiently and accurately Serve dishes promptly and professionally to ensure guest satisfaction Follow all kitchen safety procedures, including knife skills and proper equipment use, to prevent accidents Experience Previous dietary department or dietary aide experience is highly desirable Experience working in a restaurant or food service environment demonstrating strong food handling skills Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and meal assembly Familiarity with menu planning, food safety standards, and catering operations Proven ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining attention to detail Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation are preferred Prior kitchen or culinary experience within the food industry will be considered an asset Join us to bring your culinary talents to life in a role that values your passion for food, dedication to safety, and commitment to exceptional service!
