Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic to join our culinary team, bringing passion and expertise to our food service operations. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with meal preparation, ensuring food safety standards are met, and supporting the overall kitchen functions. Your enthusiasm for food industry practices and commitment to quality will help create a positive dining experience for our clients and staff alike. Responsibilities Assist in meal preparation by following recipes accurately and adhering to portion control guidelines Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives, slicers, ovens, and food processors Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen appliances in compliance with food safety standards Support menu planning efforts by preparing ingredients and assisting with presentation techniques Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed at all times to uphold safety standards Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service and ensure timely delivery of meals Contribute to catering events by preparing large quantities of food and maintaining quality during service Requirements Previous experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is preferred but not required Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen safety standards Strong understanding of food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols within the food industry Experience with menu planning, recipe adherence, and meal preparation processes Ability to operate various kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Excellent communication skills for effective coordination with kitchen staff Culinary experience including knife skills, slicing techniques, and food industry knowledge is highly desirable Join us if you're passionate about culinary arts, eager to grow your skills in a dynamic environment, and committed to delivering exceptional food service.
