Job Description
Job Details Dear Coffee NYC is currently seeking a passionate and experienced Kitchen Cook to join our team. Full time and part time positions available.
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare and execute food items in accordance with company recipes and quality standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen workspace at all times.
- Assist in receiving, storing, and rotating food inventory properly.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure a smooth and timely dining experience for every guest.
- Contribute to a positive team environment by communicating effectively and proactively supporting colleagues.
- Uphold food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
- Adapt to varying kitchen roles and stations as needed, given our growing and evolving menu.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food preparation role preferred.
- Knowledge of basic cooking techniques, kitchen equipment, and food handling practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
- A team-first attitude with strong communication skills.
- Availability to work both weekdays and weekends, including mornings, evenings, and holidays as needed.
- NYC Food Handler's Certificate (or willingness to obtain upon hiring).
Compensation:
- Onboarding period: $22/hr
Kitchen Cook:
$25/hr- Kitchen Cook w/
Food Handler's Certificate:
